There was this technique my driving instructor taught me back in the day.
It’s called the lifesaver look.
It’s a great way to think about yourself and potential breakthroughs available to you in any given moment.
Especially when it comes to growing a successful business and fulfilling your life’s purpose.
When driving a vehicle, you look in your rear view and side view mirrors to see most of the picture.
But there can still be blind spots.
My driving instructor taught me to glance quickly over my shoulder when making a turn. That, he explained, is the lifesaver look (also know as the shoulder glance).
Now by looking into life’s various mirrors and lenses, you may have a decent idea of your skills and the things you’re good at.
You may also have a reasonable feel for what you enjoy doing.
But there’s a metaphorical “life saver look” that will show a combination of those things you both adore and can be great at.
And it’s important to understand this…
Because the crossover point of passion and talent can set you free to reach new levels of fulfilment and reward.
To be honest, it’s just a starting point. When you uncover your hidden genius and potential in this way, anything becomes possible.
This approach is what my friend and colleague Sara calls the spiral effect.
It’s like identifying a whole string of pearls, one by one, and then holding them all up to the light. So you finally experience total clarity.
After watching our short podcast, I believe you’ll be so much more confident and clear on what you need to do next.
And more importantly, why.

Enjoy the conversation. I know you’ll get so much from it. The goal is to start removing those tiny blind spots that we all create when we hold ourselves back.
Do that and you’ll be free to choose your next steps wisely 🙂
We’re all looking forward to seeing your amazing progress and results!
Have an amazing day
