An important distinction…
“Has it been researched” and “does it work” are two very different questions.
My 2 year old son had itchy. red, irritated skin.
He was scratching and scratching it and making it bleed.
We tried the expensive stuff from the pharmacy (which I’m sure has been greatly and wisely researched) in his bath.
Didn’t seem to make a lot of difference.
Next, we tried a couple of spoonfuls of coconut oil in his bath.
Miraculous results. And a much happier little boy.
Personally, I always search for what works. Not just what a scientist or a tech support tells me “should work”.
It’s a distinction which I believe will always serve you well.
